Considerations for people taking
Flumadine
include the following:
Flumadine comes in tablet and syrup form. It is usually taken by mouth once or twice a day.
You can take Flumadine with food or on an empty stomach. If the drug seems to bother your stomach, try taking it with food.
For treating the flu, Flumadine works better the earlier it is started. Ideally, it should be started within 48 hours of the onset of
flu symptoms
.
For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed.
If you are unsure about anything related to your Flumadine dosage, please talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
