- Whether you are treating or preventing the flu
- For flu prevention, whether you are taking Relenza because of a flu case in your household or because of a flu outbreak in your community
- Other medical conditions you may have
- Other medications you are taking.
As always, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Relenza. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
